Another big day ahead as although the early part of the day is available to go into Toronto and explore, the coach will pick us up at 4pm from the tour hotel for the 90km trip north to Georgian Downs Racetrack in Innisfil for the 3rd round of the World Driver’s Championships. The race-card commences at 6pm with the last race carded at 9.30pm and then of course we have the hour-long trip back to Vaughan. On arrival at Montreal Airport we’re met and transferred by Coach 150km further east to the city of Trois-Rivieres (Three Rivers in English) where we stay for just the one night.

The programme commences at 7pm with the last race carded at 10.45pm before we’re transferred back to the team hotel.

THURSDAY 17 AUGUST                                         Trois-Rivieres – Montreal – Charlottetown                                                            Chester                                                          Dublin

The early start to the day is relatively relaxing although we do have an orientation tour of Trois-Rivieres with lunch and we don’t leave the area until 5pm for our 150km trip back to Montreal Airport to catch our late evening flight to Charlottetown on beautiful Prince Edward Island (known locally as PEI).

Air Canada Flight

Departs Montreal: 8.55pm Arrives Charlottetown: 11.38pm

On arrival at Charlottetown Airport we’re met and transferred by Coach to our final stop on the tour in Prince Edward Island, which is not only Canada’s smallest province but arguably its most beautiful.

So this is it – the culmination of a week’s torrid racing against the best drivers in the World and let’s hope Dexter Dunn or Mark Purdon are “in the mix”.

We have a very leisurely start to the day and plenty of time to explore Charlottetown before a late afternoon transfer at 5.30pm to Red Shores Racetrack which will host the Final night of the World Driver’s Championships.

The first race is carded at 7pm and the final race at 10.45pm before our late evening transfer back to the team hotel.

SATURDAY 19 AUGUST                                                                            Charlottetown                                                   Chester                                                          Dublin

A day at leisure and hopefully celebrating either Mark or Dexter’s crowning as World Champion. Another day to explore this very beautiful city as well of course and the day culminates with Greg O’Connor hosting a Farewell Gala Dinner (3 course meal plus welcome drinks).

SUNDAY 20 AUGUST                                    Charlottetown – Vancouver – New Zealand                                                 Chester                                                          Dublin

So okay – this is a big day or 2 to get ourselves home as flights from PEI necessitate going via Montreal or Toronto back to Vancouver and then home.

Depart Charlottetown: 1.45pm Arrive NZ Tuesday 22 August
